Cinnamon Buns Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add flour, yeast, and sugar. Mix well.
  2. Add melted butter, warm milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Knead it well until dough becomes smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. In another mixing bowl, add brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon. Mix them well.
  5. On a flat surface, sprinkle some flour and roll out the dough into a rectangle shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Spoon the cinnamon mixture over the top of the dough evenly.
  7. Roll up the dough gently inside out, tightly. Then cut it into slices of 1-inch thickness.
  8. Place them in a greased pan, let it rest for 10-15 minutes
  9. Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
