Ingredients:
- 8 slices of bread
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese

- 8 thinly sliced ham slices
- 8 thinly sliced turkey slices

Directions:

- Brush the top of the sandwich with some melted butter.
- Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
- Serve hot alongside a side salad.
