Mango Jam Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 cups ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 1.5 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the chopped mangoes, sugar, and lime juice. Stir well to combine.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, and then reduce the heat to low. Simmer the mixture for about 20-30 minutes, or until it thickens.
- Use an immersion blender or food processor to puree the jam until it is smooth.
- Transfer the jam to sterilized jars and let it cool to room temperature before tightly sealing the jars and storing in the refrigerator for up to one month.
