Praline Soufflé Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pralines
  • 5 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Butter and sugar for ramekins

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Butter and sugar 6 ramekins.
  3. In a medium saucepan, whisk egg yolks with 1/4 cup granulated sugar and flour until combined. Gradually whisk in whole milk until well combined.
  4. Cook over medium heat, whisking consistently, until mixture thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped pralines.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
  7. Fold 1/3 of egg white mixture into the praline mixture with a spatula, then gently fold in the remaining egg whites until well combined.
  8. Pour mixture into prepared ramekins, filling about 3/4 full.
  9. Bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Serve immediately.
