Praline Soufflé Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pralines
- 5 egg whites
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- Butter and sugar for ramekins
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Butter and sugar 6 ramekins.
- In a medium saucepan, whisk egg yolks with 1/4 cup granulated sugar and flour until combined. Gradually whisk in whole milk until well combined.
- Cook over medium heat, whisking consistently, until mixture thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped pralines.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Fold 1/3 of egg white mixture into the praline mixture with a spatula, then gently fold in the remaining egg whites until well combined.
- Pour mixture into prepared ramekins, filling about 3/4 full.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve immediately.
