Stuffed Bread Margarita Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of Italian bread, preferably round
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of marinara sauce
- 1 cup of fresh mozzarella, shredded
- 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Cut off the top of the bread and hollow out the center, leaving about 1 inch of bread around the edges and bottom
- Brush the inside of the bread with olive oil
- Spoon marinara sauce into the bottom of the bread
- Layer mozzarella, Parmesan and basil leaves on top of the sauce
- Repeat the layers until all the ingredients have been used up
- Place the top of the bread back on and brush with olive oil
- Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese has melted completely
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving
