Stuffed Bread Margarita Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of Italian bread, preferably round
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of marinara sauce
  • 1 cup of fresh mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. Cut off the top of the bread and hollow out the center, leaving about 1 inch of bread around the edges and bottom
  3. Brush the inside of the bread with olive oil
  4. Spoon marinara sauce into the bottom of the bread
  5. Layer mozzarella, Parmesan and basil leaves on top of the sauce
  6. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients have been used up
  7. Place the top of the bread back on and brush with olive oil
  8. Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese has melted completely
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving
