Tangy Plate of Marinated Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin on)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped scallions (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place salmon fillets, skin side up, in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Turn the fish to coat both sides and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
  3. Heat a grill pan or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the salmon fillets, skin side down and cook for about 3-5 minutes or until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  4. Flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes on the other side or until cooked through.
  5. Garnish with scallions and serve with your favorite side dishes.

Verdict:

This tangy plate of marinated salmon is a delicious and healthy meal perfect for any occasion. The marinade adds a sweet and savory flavor to the salmon, and the crispy skin gives it a satisfying texture. This dish goes well with rice, vegetables, or any side dish of your choosing.
