American Brownies Recipe

These chocolatey, fudgy brownies are a classic American treat that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting and serving.

These American Brownies are perfect on their own, or you can serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle some chocolate syrup on top for an extra indulgent treat!
