Andouillette Gratin Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 andouillettes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated gruyere cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375F.
- Remove the casing from the andouillettes and slice each one into rounds.
- Arrange the andouillette slices in a single layer in a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the all-purpose flour and whisk until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour in the heavy cream and whisk until the mixture thickens.
- Add the gruyere cheese and dijon mustard to the saucepan and stir until the cheese is melted.
- Season the cheese sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the andouillettes in the baking dish.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the sauce is bubbling.
