Ingredients

  • 4 skinless and boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions, carrots, and celery, and sauté until the vegetables are soft.
