Brioche with Thermomix Sugar Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g Flour
  • 7g Yeast
  • 60g Sugar
  • 10g Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 200g Butter
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • Thermomix Sugar

Directions:

  1. Add the flour, yeast, sugar and salt into a large bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the eggs and mix until the dough comes together.
  3. Slowly add the butter and knead for 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for 2 hours in a warm place.
  5. Punch down the dough, divide into 12 equal portions and shape into balls.
  6. Place the dough balls into a greased baking tin, cover and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Brush the top of the brioche with egg yolk and sprinkle over the Thermomix sugar.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before serving.
