Ingredients:

  • 1 pound bacon, diced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 large carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water

Instructions:
