Butternut Jar Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium butternut squash
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Peel the butternut squash and cut it into small cubes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cumin.
  5. Drizzle the olive oil over the butternut squash cubes and sprinkle the spice mixture over it. Toss it well to coat evenly.
  6. Place the seasoned butternut squash in a baking dish and roast it for 25-30 minutes or until it’s tender and caramelized.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Then transfer the roasted butternut squash to a jar and store it in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
