Butternut Jar Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 medium butternut squash
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
- Peel the butternut squash and cut it into small cubes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cumin.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the butternut squash cubes and sprinkle the spice mixture over it. Toss it well to coat evenly.
- Place the seasoned butternut squash in a baking dish and roast it for 25-30 minutes or until it’s tender and caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Then transfer the roasted butternut squash to a jar and store it in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
