Carrot and Pumpkin Soup Recipe at Monsieur Cuisine

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams pumpkin, peeled and cubed
  • 500 grams carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1.2 liters vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Turn on your Monsieur Cuisine kitchen machine and select “Steam” program.
  2. Add the pumpkin and carrots in the steam basket and cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Once the vegetables are cooked, set them aside and empty the container.
  4. Place the onion and garlic into the kitchen machine and chop them for 5 seconds on speed 5.
  5. Add the olive oil and sauté the onions and garlic on speed 1, 120°C for 3 minutes.
  6. Add the vegetables back into the container, then pour the vegetable stock on top.
  7. Select the “Soup” program for 25 minutes.
  8. Blend the soup for 1 minute on speed gradually increasing to 10.
  9. Season with salt and pepper, then taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  10. Transfer the soup into bowls and serve while hot.
