Cheese Rolls Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg beaten

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
  2. On a floured surface, unfold the puff pastry sheets and cut them into 2-inch wide strips.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the grated cheese and Dijon mustard.
  4. Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture onto the middle of each pastry strip and roll the pastry around the cheese.
  5. Brush the tops of each roll with the beaten egg.
  6. Place the cheese rolls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake the cheese rolls for 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven or until golden brown.
