Chinese Fried Noodles with Pork Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Chinese egg noodles
  • 1/2 lb. pork shoulder, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Chinese egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat.
  3. Add the sliced pork shoulder and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until the pork is browned.
  4. Add the minced garlic and sliced onions and stir-fry for another minute.
  5. Add the shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, and chopped green onions. Stir-fry for another minute.
  6. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Mix well.
  7. Add the cooked Chinese egg noodles and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes or until everything is well combined and the noodles are heated through.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve the Chinese Fried Noodles with Pork hot, topped with additional chopped green onions, if desired. This dish goes well with steamed rice or as a stand-alone meal. Enjoy!
