Easter Chocolate Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in the pie plate and prick the bottom with a fork.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 to 12 minutes, or until light golden brown. Let it cool.
