Easy Paella Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 cups Arborio rice (or other short-grain rice)
  • 1 teaspoon saffron threads (or turmeric)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp
  • 1/2 pound fresh or frozen peas (thawed)
