Easy Pear Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 pears, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the sliced pears, sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl, toss until the pears are evenly coated.
- Unroll the pie crust and transfer it to a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the coated pear mixture into the pie crust.
- Scatter the butter pieces over the top of the pear mixture.
- Place the pie dish on a baking sheet and bake it in the preheated oven until the crust is golden brown and the pear mixture is tender (for about 40-50 minutes).
- Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
