Ingredients:

  • 12 hard boiled eggs, peeled and cut in half lengthwise, with yolks removed and reserved
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 large uncooked pasta shells
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions but only until al dente (slightly firm). Drain the pasta and set aside.
