Fine Pepper Tart Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made tart shell (9 inches)
  • 1/2 cup of cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper, thin slices
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, thin slices
  • 1 green bell pepper, thin slices
  • 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, grated

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Spoon the mixture into the tart shell, spreading evenly.
  4. Arrange the pepper slices on top of the cream cheese mixture, in a circular pattern (starting from the edge and working your way into the center).
  5. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the top of the peppers.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tart shell is golden brown.
  7. Let the tart cool for a few minutes before serving.
