Fondant Recipe
Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 200g unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
- 200g caster sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 200g plain flour
- Cocoa powder for dusting the moulds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C/gas mark 4 and grease 6 fondant moulds with butter. Dust with cocoa powder and shake off the excess.
- In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and butter until completely smooth and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs until the mixture turns pale and thickens. Gradually add the flour and whisk until the mixture is well combined.
