Fresh Pear Tart Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 4-5 ripe pears, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pie crust and place it on top of the prepared baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add the sliced pears to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the flour mixture. Arrange the pears on top of the pie crust in a circular pattern, leaving about 1 inch of crust around the edges.
- Dot the top of the pears with the chilled butter and fold the exposed crust over the pears, pinching any folds together to prevent leakage.
- Bake the pear tart for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Let the tart cool on the baking sheet for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

This pear tart is a delicious and elegant dessert that perfectly highlights the flavors of fresh, ripe pears. The combination of cinnamon and nutmeg with the sweet pears gives this dish a warm and cozy taste that will make it a new favorite for sure.
