Recipe for Fried Donut

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying
  • Additional granulated sugar for coating

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth dough is formed.

  8. Remove the donuts from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain off any excess oil.
  9. While the donuts are still warm, roll them in granulated sugar to coat.
