Goat Cheese and Apple Ham Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups diced cooked ham
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced ham, diced apples, crumbled goat cheese, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the greased cake pan. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to smooth the top of the mixture so that it is evenly distributed in the pan.
  4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  6. Using a knife, loosen the edges of the cake from the pan. Place a plate on top of the cake pan, and flip the pan over so that the cake comes out onto the plate.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.
