Goat Cheese Quiche Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 4 ounces of goat cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 of a yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Take out your pre-made pie crust and allow it to come to room temperature.
  3. Crumble the goat cheese and set it aside in a bowl.
  4. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and then add in the milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
  5. In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat and add in the chopped onion. Cook until the onion is translucent and softened.
  6. Add the cooked onion to the egg mixture, along with the crumbled goat cheese and parsley.
  7. Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until it is firm to the touch and golden brown on top.
  8. Allow the quiche to cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting into it. Serve warm or at room temperature.
