Ham Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 9-12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound cooked ham, chopped
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta, egg, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. In a 13×9 inch baking dish, spread about 1 cup of spaghetti sauce on the bottom.
  5. Layer 3-4 noodles on top of the sauce, making sure they don’t overlap too much.
  6. Spoon half of the ricotta mixture on top of the noodles, spread evenly.
  7. Add half of the chopped ham on top of the ricotta mixture.
  8. Add half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the ham.
  9. Add half of the grated parmesan cheese on top of the mozzarella.
  10. Sprinkle half of the chopped parsley on top of the parmesan.
  11. Repeat the layers: sauce, noodles, ricotta, ham, mozzarella, parmesan, and parsley.
  12. Cover the lasagna with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is crispy and golden.
  13. Remove from the oven and let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
