Ham-mushroom Tart
This savory tart is perfect for any meal of the day. It combines the richness of ham and cheese with the earthy flavor of mushrooms all in a buttery crust.
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch tart pan and press to fit the bottom and sides.
- Sprinkle the diced ham evenly over the bottom of the crust.
- Top ham with the sliced mushrooms and shredded Gruyere cheese.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the ham, mushrooms, and cheese.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before removing from pan and slicing.
