Honey-Cinnamon Apple Tian Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 apples, cored and sliced thin
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with honey, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well-coated.
- Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it in an even layer.
- Dot the top with pieces of butter.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the apples are soft and the top is golden brown.
- Let the tian cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve the Honey-Cinnamon Apple Tian warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream on top for a delicious dessert. It can also be served as a side dish with roasted meats or poultry.
