Hot-Cold Pom-Choco Crumble Style

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pomegranate seeds, sugar, and corn starch. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, melt white chocolate chips in the microwave on medium heat. Stir every 20 seconds, until fully melted.
  4. Add melted butter to the white chocolate and mix well. Set aside.
  5. In another mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  6. Add the white chocolate mixture to the flour mixture and mix well until crumbles form.
  7. Spoon half the crumbles onto the prepared baking sheet and spread them out in an even layer.
  8. Add the pomegranate mixture on top of the crumbles. Spread it out evenly, leaving 1 inch of space around the edges.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining crumbles on top of the pomegranate layer.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until crumbles are golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  11. Serve with vanilla ice cream (optional).
