Iced Infusion – Delight Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea (your choice of flavor)
  • 1/4 cup of honey or sugar (whichever you prefer)
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a pot.
  2. Once the water boils, add 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea to the pot.
  3. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally to make sure all the tea leaves are submerged and brewing.
  4. Remove the pot from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. Once the tea has cooled, add 1/4 cup of honey or sugar to the pot. Stir until the sweetener has dissolved.
  6. Add the juice of 1 lemon to the pot and stir again.
  7. Store the iced infusion in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until it is chilled.
  8. When ready to serve, pour the iced infusion into glasses filled with ice cubes.
  9. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and enjoy!
