Jelly Egg Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 packet of jelly crystals (any flavor of your choice)
  • 2 cups of boiling water

Instructions:

  1. Boil the eggs in a pot of boiling water for 10-12 minutes. Let them cool and peel the shell off. Cut the eggs in half, remove the yolk and place the egg whites on a plate.
  2. In a separate bowl, prepare a packet of jelly according to the instructions given on the package.
  3. Take an ice cube tray or egg container and pour a spoonful of jelly mixture up to 1/3rd of each cube.
  4. Place one half of the egg white in each of the cubes, with the curved side facing upwards.
  5. Pour more jelly mixture on top of the egg whites, until they are completely covered.
  6. Refrigerate the tray for at least an hour, until the jelly is set.
  7. Remove the jelly eggs from the ice cube tray or egg container and place them on a platter.
