Mushroom Puffs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 package of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, sauté mushrooms, onion and garlic until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add dried thyme, salt, and black pepper, and continue to sautee for another minute.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into 9 equal squares.
- Divide the mushroom mixture evenly among each puff pastry square.
- Take two opposite corners of each square and bring them together in the center. Press the edges together to seal the puff.
- Place the mushroom puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the puff with beaten egg and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown
- Serve hot and enjoy!
