Party Queen Bites Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 24 small dinner rolls
  • 24 slices of cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, ketchup, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Mix well with your hands to combine all the ingredients.
  3. Form the meat mixture into small balls, about the size of a ping pong ball. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, cut the dinner rolls in half and place them on another baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and turn the oven to broil.
  7. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each meatball, and place the meatballs back in the oven under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
  8. Assemble the buns by placing one meatball on the bottom half of each bun, and then placing the top bun over the meatball.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
