Pickled Sardines Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. fresh sardines
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, sliced
Instructions:
- Clean and gut the sardines, removing any scales or bones.
