Potato Gratin Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 large Potatoes
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg, grated
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the cream, milk, garlic, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg over medium-low heat. Heat until simmering, then remove from heat and set aside.

  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and the potatoes are cooked through.
  9. Let the gratin cool for 10 minutes before serving.
