Prawns Marinated in Onions
Ingredients:
- 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the prawns, onion, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat a grill or barbecue to medium high heat.
- Skewer the prawns onto wooden or metal skewers.
- Brush the skewered prawns with any remaining marinade and place on the grill.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the prawns are pink and cooked through.
- Serve immediately.
