Quiche without candied tomato crust


Quiche Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of diced ham or bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss recommended)
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375℉ (190℃).
  2. Unroll the pie crust and place in a standard pie dish. Trim off the excess crust around the edges. Use a fork to pierce several holes in the bottom of the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat 6 eggs. Add in 1 cup of milk and mix well.
  4. Mix in the diced ham or bacon, shredded cheese, diced onion, diced bell pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the quiche is golden brown and the filling is set in the center.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
