Raclette Style Toast Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread, preferably sourdough
  • 150g raclette cheese, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices of cooked ham, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the softened butter over each slice of bread, making sure to cover the edges.
  3. Sprinkle the minced garlic over the buttered bread slices.
  4. Divide the thinly sliced ham evenly over the four slices of bread, covering them completely.
  5. Place the raclette cheese slices on top of the ham, making sure to cover the bread completely.
  6. Place the slices of bread on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with salt and black pepper, to taste. Cut into slices and serve hot.
