Ingredients

  • 150g butter
  • 150g golden syrup
  • 150g muscovado sugar
  • 300g oats

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven at 180°C and grease a 20cm square baking tin.
  2. Melt the butter, golden syrup and muscovado sugar over low heat in a saucepan. Stir well with a wooden spoon until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Add the oats and stir until they are completely coated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking tin.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
