Real Flapjacks Recipe
Ingredients
- 150g butter
- 150g golden syrup
- 150g muscovado sugar
- 300g oats
Directions
- Preheat the oven at 180°C and grease a 20cm square baking tin.
- Melt the butter, golden syrup and muscovado sugar over low heat in a saucepan. Stir well with a wooden spoon until smooth. Remove from heat.
- Add the oats and stir until they are completely coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking tin.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
