Salted Chilli and Almond Cake Crisps Recipe

Ingredients

  • 150g almond cake, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4. Line a baking tray with baking parchment.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the crumbled almond cake and olive oil.
  3. Add the smoked paprika, chilli powder and sea salt flakes, and mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the baking tray, then use your hands to spread it out into an even layer.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cake crisps are golden and crisp.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the baking tray.
  7. When the cake crisps are cold and crisp, break them into small pieces and serve.
