Salted Chilli and Almond Cake Crisps Recipe
Ingredients
- 150g almond cake, crumbled
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4. Line a baking tray with baking parchment.
- In a bowl, mix together the crumbled almond cake and olive oil.
- Add the smoked paprika, chilli powder and sea salt flakes, and mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the baking tray, then use your hands to spread it out into an even layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cake crisps are golden and crisp.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the baking tray.
- When the cake crisps are cold and crisp, break them into small pieces and serve.
