Scallops with Smoked Bacon and Foie Gras
Ingredients:
- 12 large scallops, cleaned and deveined
- 6 slices of smoked bacon, chopped
- 100g foie gras, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper.
- In a frying pan, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sear the scallops over high heat for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add another tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the slices of foie gras until they are golden brown.
- To assemble, place a few pieces of bacon on a plate. Top with a seared scallop and a slice of foie gras.
- Serve immediately.
