Southern Mixed Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/4 cup corn kernels, cooked
  • 1/4 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup crispy bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup honey mustard dressing

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, diced cucumber, cooked corn kernels, rinsed and drained black beans, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled crispy bacon.
  2. Toss the ingredients until well combined.
  3. Add the honey mustard dressing to the mixture and toss until the salad is evenly coated with dressing.
