Special Thermomix Lorraine Quiche Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ΒΌ cup of flour
  • 1 tbsp of cold butter
  • 1 egg
  • 15 g Parmesan cheese
  • 150 g chopped bacon
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • 300 ml of heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  5. Roll out the pastry and place it in a 9-inch / 23cm quiche dish.
  6. Pierce the bottom of the crust with a fork and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool down.
  7. While the crust is cooling heat a cooking pan over medium heat and add the bacon and the chopped onion. Cook for 10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Whisk together the 4 eggs, heavy cream and add salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Spread the bacon and onion mixture evenly into the pastry crust and then top it with the egg and cream mixture.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and set.
  11. Remove from oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Serve in wedges and enjoy!
