Ingredients:

  • 180g all-purpose flour
  • 60g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 120g unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 120ml milk
  • 4 tablespoons of Speculoos paste

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease a 9-inch cake pan and set aside.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. With a handheld or stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
