Sweetened Condensed Milk Cookie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add in sweetened condensed milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.
  5. Gradually add in dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. If desired, fold in white chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough with a cookie scoop, and place on a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
