Sweetened Condensed Milk Cookie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add in sweetened condensed milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.
- Gradually add in dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- If desired, fold in white chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough with a cookie scoop, and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
