Tagine of Pork Cheeks with Prunes, Honey and Almonds Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork cheeks, cut into large chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup prunes, pitted and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a tagine or a heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat.
