Tagine of Pork Cheeks with Prunes, Honey and Almonds Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 kg pork cheeks, cut into large chunks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup prunes, pitted and chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 2 cups chicken broth
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a tagine or a heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat.
