Tagliatelle with Prawns and Lime Cream
Ingredients:
- 400g tagliatelle
- 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 limes, juiced and zested
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add tagliatelle and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining pasta.
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add prawns to the pan and cook until they start to turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and add heavy cream to the pan. Stir until well combined.
- Add lime juice and zest to the pan, stirring well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add drained pasta and reserved pasta water to the pan and toss to coat noodles with sauce and prawns.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
