Tangerine syrup – Treat


Tangerine Syrup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of freshly squeezed tangerine juice
  • 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tsp of cornstarch

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, mix the tangerine juice, sugar, and water over medium heat.
  2. Stir occasionally until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of cold water and stir to form a smooth paste.
  4. Add the cornstarch mix to the tangerine mixture and continue to stir until the syrup thickens to the desired consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool completely before serving.

Serving Suggestions:

The tangerine syrup can be used as a topping for pancakes, French toast, waffles or even ice cream.
