Tartar sauce


Tartar Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tablespoon capers, drained and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped shallot
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, pickles, capers, shallot, parsley, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Enjoy Tartar Sauce with fried fish, shrimp or crab cakes as a dipping sauce. You can also use it as a condiment on sandwiches or burgers.
