Thermomix Lamb Stew Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1kg lamb shoulder, diced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 4 celery stalks, sliced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, coat the lamb with flour.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat, and brown the lamb on all sides. Transfer the lamb to a plate.
  3. Add the onions and garlic to the same pan and sauté until softened.
  4. Transfer the onions and garlic to the Thermomix bowl, and add the carrots, celery, potatoes, bay leaves, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper. Mix for 10 seconds on speed 5.
  5. Add the beef broth, red wine, tomato paste and lamb to the bowl.
  6. Cook for 50 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius on reverse speed 1.
  7. Remove the bay leaves and serve hot.
