Thermomix Lamb Stew Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1kg lamb shoulder, diced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 4 celery stalks, sliced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 teaspoons thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, coat the lamb with flour.
- Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat, and brown the lamb on all sides. Transfer the lamb to a plate.
- Add the onions and garlic to the same pan and sauté until softened.
- Transfer the onions and garlic to the Thermomix bowl, and add the carrots, celery, potatoes, bay leaves, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper. Mix for 10 seconds on speed 5.
- Add the beef broth, red wine, tomato paste and lamb to the bowl.
- Cook for 50 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius on reverse speed 1.
- Remove the bay leaves and serve hot.
